Windows Vista - Add Specific Folders to the Open Dialog Box

Some programs (e.g. flckr) call the windows open dialog when seeking to select multiple files to open.

The favourites bar on the left does not have your favourite folders and there is no Recent Places or Favourites button on the dialog to get to places easily.

You can add places to this bar in Windows Vista similarly to XP (See Windows XP - Add Specific Folders to the Open Dialog Box).

Find and copy the path of the folder that you want to appear in the dialog.

The add this path to the Windows Registry

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\comdlg32\PlacesBar

Viola ! The folder appears in the Open Dialog in the laft panel....
